Today we are reviewing Damn Good Western Style Beef Jerky. For those unfamiliar with Damn Good Foods they are out of Stillwater, New York.
The package we are reviewing is a 1.8 oz., single-serve. The jerky is a thin to medium cut beef jerky with a consistent, solid-beef flavor. If you are familiar with the Damn Good line of beef jerky flavors then you will notice that Western Style is a bit thicker. This one has 20g of protein and 2g of fat per single-size serving, no msg added and no nitrites. Contains soy and wheat.
This jerky has a strong beef aroma and flavor. You will definitely taste the teriyaki flavor followed by the black pepper. We would characterize this one as a very traditional beef jerky flavor.
