Barren Creek Roasted Garlic Beef Jerky is made by brothers John and Andy Johnson at Johnson’s Mill on the Barren Creek in New Tazewell, Tennessee. The Johnson brothers started making their beef jerky since 2008 and today it’s made in a modern USDA inspected facility.
The package is 3.2 oz. and is resealable. From the label ingredients include beef, soy sauce, Worchestershire sauce, garlic, pepper and spices. In a 1 oz. serving there is 16g of protein and 2.5g of fat. All natural ingredients. No MSG or preservatives.
On opening the bag, I clearly detect the garlic aroma. The cut is about medium and the jerky tears easily. The initial taste is garlic followed by the Worchestershire and beef. Chewability is about medium. Not difficult to chew, but does require some chewing. For a complete and detailed review, see my Barren Creek Roasted Garlic Beef Jerky Video Review below.
